What I do

Three steps, and you can stop after any of them

Nothing here asks you to trust me on faith. Each step is small enough to walk away from, and each one pays for the next.

1 · China Verdict — this week

USD 500 (about KES 65,000)

A 60-minute call and a one-page written verdict you can show your partners.

  • What to build or bring in first, and what to leave alone
  • A landed-cost range for that first line — factory price through to your floor
  • The three risks most likely to cost you money
  • A straight go or no-go. Sometimes the answer is don't.

2 · Partner Trial — two to three weeks

USD 3,000–5,000 — credited in full against step 3 if you go ahead within 60 days

A paid test of whether I deliver, before either of us commits to anything big.

  • Three vetted makers for your specific project — not names from a fair
  • The true landed cost on your floor, itemised
  • A live video tour of the best plant, with you on the call
  • One maker's written terms: price, credit, technicians or consignment

3 · Build — three to six months, staged

A fixed fee agreed in writing before we start, paid stage by stage on delivery · plus an operating-partner share of 3–5% on supply for two years, shown on every invoice

The part where it becomes a real line in your business.

  • Partner terms signed with the maker
  • Machines or the first container landed
  • Handover with the maker's technicians, where the maker provides them
  • The systems to run it after I stop being in the room every day

Equity only if you want me in as an operating partner. It is never a condition.

Open-book means you see the factory's invoice. My share is a named line on it, and the factory pays me nothing behind your back.

If you are a Chinese factory or brand

The same work in reverse: I hold the local licence, register the products, build the channel and run the market — starting in Kenya, then East Africa. I am not asking to be a distributor who buys one container and disappears. I build the platform and stay in it with you.

Who this is for

Established owners with a named project and the capital ready — typically KES 20M a year and upward — anywhere in Africa. And Chinese manufacturers who want a serious partner rather than another trading enquiry.

Not for people testing an idea. I will tell you that kindly and quickly, and it will not cost you anything.

Three questions, and Wendy from my office replies within 24 hours.
